Hanger ears of this model are used for the Shinkansen. A φ6 phosphor copper bar used as the hanger bar ensures higher reliability in strength and fatigue resistance. Model H hanger ears are ordinarily used with nylon messenger wire protection covers.

Hanger ears of this model are used for narrow-gauge lines. A wedge driven in-between ear components from above produces the force that holds the contact wires. Model A hanger ears do not have any bolts. Accordingly, working on them does not require any special tools. Stainless steel flat plates with a 2 ☓ 15 mm cross section are used as the hanger bars.

Accordingly, working on them does not require any special tools. φ5 stainless steel bars are used as the hanger bars. Model SC hanger ears are lightweight and less prone to forming hard spots. They are also less affected by wind.

Hanger ears of this type are used to ensure the insulation of messenger wires at locations where messenger wires require insulation such as in station buildings and overbridges. A special, highly weather-resistant epoxy resin used for the hanger ears prevents degradation of insulator surfaces.

Hanger ears of this model are used exclusively in places where two feeder messenger wires in a pair maintain a distance of 100 mm in DC overhead contact lines (1500 VDC). They are epoxy-resin insulation hanger ears, preventing feeding current from flowing between the messenger wire and the contact wire.
